President Biden: "I don't walk as easy as I used to. I don't speak as smoothly as I used to... I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. I know how to do this job...I know like millions of Americans know; when you get knocked down you get back up!"
@RepBobGood - If you smell smoke in DC this morning, it's not coming from Canada this time, it's coming from just outside of Lynchburg. Heat becomes drought becomes fire. This will only get worse over time. Please, open your eyes/nostrils and see/smell the truth.
The Oct 7 attack was devastating and Israel has every right to defend itself. But as someone who has been to Gaza, walked some of those streets and experienced the warmth of Palestinians, their suffering is also devastating. Aid must come soon.

To House Republicans blaming Dems for the Speaker chaos b/c Dems wouldn't cross party lines and vote for McCarthy, there is a very simple solution. Just 5 Republican votes for Jeffries & we'll have a new Speaker and the House can get to work.
Republicans blaming Democrats for the current Congressional chaos b/c they didn't vote for McCarthy is absolute absurdity. I can only imagine how many R's would have voted for Nancy Pelosi if the situation were reversed. Not a single one!
I've been quiet on social media since my campaign, but no longer. I've never regretted making @SquireForYou for HoD my first endorsement, & the lies his primary opponent is telling about him cement that confidence. This is an easy one - Kellen Squire for HD55. Vote b4 or on 6/20.
@RepMcEachin was the first VA Rep I called. He was a man of deep faith and we connected immediately. As the call ended he thanked me for the chat and then scolded me for not asking him for $$. (then he promptly sent me $$ anyway :). RIP good and faithful servant.
I am devastated by the passing of my friend of over 20 years, @RepMcEachin. He was a fierce social justice warrior and protector of the environment. It was an honor to serve the RVA area with him. Tonight, God called him home and said, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
The shooting at UVA last night is tragic, and the injury and loss of life heartbreaking. I’m so sorry to the friends and family affected. My deepest respect for the law enforcement out searching for the shooter right now, and I pray for peace for family who worry as they search.
A huge shout out of thanks and gratitude to our veterans today! Hearing their incredible stories, and their very real struggles, is inspiring and motivating.
There is still so much work to do, and I look forward to sharing that work with so many of you in the future. For now, a bit of rest and reflection.
Thank you all, from the bottom of my happy heart.

Tuesday's results were not what we hoped and we are disappointed, but we're proud of the campaign we ran. I have learned so much through this campaign and I have a deep sense of excitement about putting that knowledge to work in the future, but for today I wanted to say thank you
Thank you Minhee, Lucy, and Agnes. You inspired me as a candidate, and you are what makes losing only hurt a little because I still come home to you every day. [Insert here the thousand other mushy things I want to say.] I love you so much!
