I won’t be shocked if by the end of today, Dipke, Saurav Das, Vijeta Dahiya, and other prominent faces of the CJP protest are detained and kept in jail for years without a trial.

The system is beyond rotten, and the worst part is that people are enabling it.

Right-wing handles are already running a campaign claiming the protest was never peaceful and that the protesters attacked the police. They’re just spreading the script feeded by their masters.

But they only wanted to walk to the doors of Parliament to seek a dialogue. Did you let them reach Parliament? Did your police force even try to talk to them before resorting to lathi charges and tear gas? Did your leaders tried to have a dialogue with a rigid intent ? Did anyone show empathy to those 20–25 year old students before hitting them on the head and leaving them bleeding on the streets?

Some protesters are reportedly still lying injured with no medical assistance. Not a single ambulance in sight. Is this how government and judiciary values life of a citizen seeking justice & accountability?!

And then comes the audacity of some clowns to claim this was never a student protest and that it was an attempt to destroy the nation’s integrity, a protest to attack a religion, a protest to encourage terror and so on. I wonder how can someone be this blind

This nation’s integrity has already been damaged by a system that answers questions with force instead of dialogue, and by spineless people who worship politicians like gods instead of holding them accountable.

The real threat to the nation lies not in these protests, but in the growing culture of impunity, propaganda and public apathy that sustains it. True patriotism demands accountability, empathy for citizens and a willingness to listen, yes the qualities that appear increasingly absent in today’s india. this cycle of alienation and repression will only deepen the fractures in our democracy 🙏🏻
