द्वाराहाट में क्या चल रहा है?

राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज नौगाँव, कफड़ा में अंग्रेज़ी विषय के प्रवक्ता की वर्षों से अनुपस्थिति है। वहीं स्थानीय लोगों का आरोप है कि सरकार से वेतन लेने वाली शिक्षिका अपनी जगह दूसरी मैडम से काम करवा रही हैं और यह व्यवस्था पिछले 2-3 वर्षों से चल रही है, साथ ही विद्यार्थियों से 50 रुपए अतिरिक्त शुल्क लेने की बात भी सामने आई।

मामले को लेकर द्वाराहाट ब्लॉक प्रमुख डॉ. आरती किरौला ने मुख्य शिक्षा अधिकारी, अल्मोड़ा से वार्ता की तो अधिकारी ने आवश्यक कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया है।

पलायन रोकने के दावे बहुत होते हैं, लेकिन जमीन पर तस्वीर आखिर क्यों नहीं बदलती?

उत्तराखंड में पलायन रोकने को लेकर सरकारें लगातार बड़े-बड़े दावे करती रही हैं। योजनाएं बनती हैं, घोषणाएं होती हैं और पलायन रोकने के संकल्प भी दोहराए जाते हैं। लेकिन पहाड़ के गांवों और कस्बों की हकीकत आज भी एक बड़ा सवाल खड़ा करती है - अगर स्थानीय युवाओं को उनके ही क्षेत्र में रोजगार के अवसर नहीं मिलेंगे, तो पलायन आखिर रुकेगा कैसे?

पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में रोजगार के अवसर पहले से ही सीमित हैं। ऐसे में जिन नौकरियों और काम के अवसरों में स्थानीय युवाओं को प्राथमिकता मिलनी चाहिए, अगर वहां भी दूसरे राज्यों के युवाओं की नियुक्ति होती दिखाई दे, तो पहाड़ का युवा आखिर अपने भविष्य के लिए कहां जाए?

पलायन सिर्फ एक व्यक्ति का पहाड़ छोड़ना नहीं होता। एक युवक रोजगार की तलाश में बाहर जाता है, फिर धीरे-धीरे परिवार की जरूरतें उसे भी शहर की ओर खींच लेती हैं। बच्चे बाहर पढ़ने लगते हैं, बुजुर्ग पीछे छूट जाते हैं और कुछ समय बाद वह घर, वह गांव और वह पूरा क्षेत्र धीरे-धीरे खाली होने लगता है।

यही वजह है कि रोजगार से जुड़ा हर फैसला उत्तराखंड के लिए सिर्फ नौकरी का मुद्दा नहीं, बल्कि पहाड़ के अस्तित्व और भविष्य का सवाल है।

सवाल यह भी है कि जब सरकार स्थानीय स्तर पर रोजगार उपलब्ध कराने और स्थानीय युवाओं को प्राथमिकता देने की बात करती है, तो फिर ऐसे मामलों में ठोस व्यवस्था क्यों नहीं बनाई जाती? क्या स्थानीय युवाओं के लिए रोजगार के अवसर सुरक्षित करने की दिशा में गंभीर प्रयास नहीं हो सकते?

इस मुद्दे को लेकर सांसद अनिल बलूनी भी पहले संज्ञान लेने की बात कह चुके हैं। उम्मीद थी कि मामला आगे बढ़ेगा और स्थानीय युवाओं के हित में कोई ठोस कदम सामने आएगा। लेकिन जिस तरह की खबरें अब सामने आ रही हैं, उससे यही सवाल उठता है कि कहीं यह मामला भी सिर्फ कागजों और आश्वासनों तक सीमित होकर तो नहीं रह गया?

उत्तराखंड को सिर्फ यह कहने से नहीं बचाया जा सकता कि “पलायन रोकना है।”
पलायन तब रुकेगा, जब पहाड़ के युवा को अपने ही पहाड़ में रोजगार, सम्मान और भविष्य की उम्मीद दिखाई देगी क्योंकि जिस दिन पहाड़ का युवा रोजगार के लिए पहाड़ छोड़ना बंद कर देगा, उसी दिन पलायन रोकने की असली शुरुआत होगी।

60 posts, 60 selected from Haryana, 50 of them with 100%. Uttarakhand’s youth left watching again.

The Gramin Dak Sevak recruitment results in Pithoragarh have stirred controversy once again. Of 65 GDS posts in the district, 60 were filled. All 60 selected candidates are from Haryana, and 50 of them scored 100% in their high school board exams.

Selection is based only on Class 10 marks. As Pithoragarh’s Postal Superintendent Ashok Kumar Pathak says, whoever has higher high school marks gets ahead, and Haryana’s candidates are coming out on top.
But there’s a problem. Many of these toppers, with 100 in Hindi, are struggling to read and write Hindi. Some can’t even write a basic application. Pithoragarh’s postal department has had to arrange Hindi coaching for them.

And it isn’t new. In 2024, over 400 selected dak sevaks refused to join in Uttarakhand, and only about 10% of those selected were local. In Pauri, a Haryana youth with 95 in Hindi couldn’t write “dakghar” correctly. This June in Dharchula, a GDS was moved after villagers complained mail hadn’t been delivered for months, and inspectors found 50 to 60 Aadhaar cards lying undelivered.

This isn’t about where anyone comes from. Every young person deserves a fair chance at a job anywhere in India. The problem is a system that picks candidates only on board marks, without checking whether they can actually do the work. The rules even say candidates must know the local language. So who’s checking?

Former dayitvadhari Mahendra Lunthi and Hotel Association president Rajendra Bhatt have demanded a probe into how so many students keep scoring 100%, and why such high scorers are applying for a GDS job.

A dak sevak in the hills isn’t just delivering letters. They handle pensions, savings and Aadhaar cards for elderly people in remote villages. When the person behind the counter can’t read the language of the people they serve, it’s the villagers who suffer.

The woes of Sikkim and Uttarakhand are tied closely due to the impending swearing in ceremony of Gautam as the Governor of Sikkim. Hundreds of young people, particularly most of them women, are choosing to speak out against the controversial Dushyant Gautam in Sikkim. As the alleged VIP in the Ankita Bhandari murder, the listless Gautam has acquired a terrible reputation for himself. Yet, the Modi government and the BJP have thrown all caution to the wind and are nonchalant with their ill timed decision to send Gautam to Gangtok. It is obvious that thousands are rightfully very angry and disappointed with this decision. Gautams elevation to the constitutional position is sadly a new, collective low for our two hill states.

अंकिता भंडारी केस में बीजेपी लीडर विनोद आर्य के बेटे पुलकित आर्य को उम्र क़ैद की सजा हुई।

जांच के दौरान दो व्यक्तियों के फ़ोन कभी नहीं मिले।

1. पुलकित आर्य
2. अंकिता भंडारी

अंकिता भंडारी की डुप्लीकेट सिम बनवा कर पुलिस ने साल भर की कॉल डिटेल, वॉट्सएप मेसेज निकलवा लिए।

लेकिन पुलकित आर्य के मामले में ऐसा नहीं किया गया!

क्यों?

क्योंकि पुलकित आर्य की कॉल डिटेल्स और मेसेज से पता चल जाता कि कौन कौन VIP इसमें शामिल था।

ये भी पता चल जाता कि क्या मामला सिर्फ अंकिता के शोषण का था या और भी युवतियों को मजबूर किया जाता था।

इसीलिए उत्तराखंड में इस मामले में रोष है।

इसीलिए अंकिता के माता पिता आंदोलित हैं।

पुलिस ने तो VIP के नाम उजागर नहीं किए। लेकिन जब बीजेपी के अपने नेताओं ने पिछले साल दुष्यंत गौतम का नाम उजागर कर दिया, तो पूरे उत्तराखंड में जनता सड़कों पर उतर आई।

तब जनवरी 2026 में CBI जांच की घोषणा की गई।

लेकिन दस महीने हो गए, जांच आगे नहीं बढ़ी।

अंकिता के पिता को पहली बार CBI ने पिछले हफ़्ते 9 अक्टूबर को संपर्क किया!

और फिर 12 अक्टूबर को दुष्यंत गौतम को सिक्किम का राज्यपाल बना कर जाँच के दायरे से बाहर कर दिया। राज्यपाल को संवैधानिक immunity होती है। कोई CBI या SIT उनसे पूछताछ नहीं कर सकती है।

राज्यपाल बनाने के लिए गृह मंत्रालय और IB ने दुष्यंत गौतम को चुपचाप क्लीन चिट भी दे दी!

ऐसा क्यों किया, यही सवाल अंकिता के माता पिता राष्ट्रपति जी पूछना चाहते हैं।
