AFC Chiltern #11 ⚽

[AFC Chiltern @AFCChiltern]

An incredible ending to the game. 3-0 down after 80 minutes to pull it back to 3-3 with virtually the last kick of the game. Joshy Mc with the first, before Rich bagged a brace. Each man worked their arse off and deserved to get back into the game 💪🏻

A great 2nd half, we got the goals & take the points. Lew with a 25 yard free kick into the corner, Rich shut down two defenders & the GK to leave the ball rolling into an empty net. Lew with a last second clincher after running 80 yards to get on the end of Carter’s clearance 🤠

CHILTERN ARE IN THE FINAL!! Unfortunately I wasn’t there, but the group chat has kept me well informed. Drawing 1-1 after 90 minutes with Barnsey scoring on his debut, before winning 5-4 on penalties! YEEHAWWW 🤠

@AFCChiltern Real battle, as in, fracturing our players Clavicle, headbutting our left back (same player, not one card) and threatening to stab our winger. Nice bunch 👍

[AFC Chiltern @AFCChiltern]

A real battle in the second half. No real chances for Bush but Matty still put a shift in, we hit the bar and missed some guilt edge chances. The less said about the referee and other team, the better. We’ll take the positives: clean sheet, into the QF and still top of the league

[AFC Chiltern @AFCChiltern]

The weather kicked off as soon as the second half did 🌧️ But we took advantage of a tired Slip End and used our subs well. Glenn, Lewis and Joshy all getting on the scoresheet, plus numerous missed chances at the end. 7 goals from 7 scorers and top of the league (for a week) 💪🏻

[AFC Chiltern @AFCChiltern]

A true battle in the second half and we managed to come out on top 💪🏻 Loads of chances for both sides, some of them leaving us thinking how haven’t we scored more! Every man left it all on the pitch. And now… to the bar! 🍻

[AFC Chiltern @AFCChiltern]

Much, MUCH better! Rich lobbing the keeper, Glenn nicking it off the last defender and slotting home, Lewis with another sweaty, Rich powering home for a hatty and Shay bundling one in on the line. Incredible second half 🙌🏻🤠

@AFCChiltern Smashed them 👊
