Throughout my career I’ve often heard Wizard badmouthed by peers as a prime example of “trashy” comics press. But Wizard Magazine was a GIANT at promoting comic books. It stirred *excitement* about the hobby, something that’s sorely needed today.

@man_vhs Ha! Makes sense. Need that as well. Great finds though!

[VHS-mart @JoshuaAyres15]

@man_vhs What's your number one?

[VHS-mart @JoshuaAyres15]

@man_vhs Lint Guard? Ya, its definately Lint Guard.

What is the most disturbing movie you've ever seen?

[VHSRevival (Edison Smith) @VHSRevival]

Cannon cult classic #Bloodsport, released #OTD in 1988, remains a firm favourite among Van Damme fans

The #movie was based on the dubious life of marital artist Frank Dux, a legendary fantasist with some extremely tall tales

@WizardsComics FINALLY dug my Wizards out. I found these for a buck a piece! Including the Superman special signed by Jurgens! I get to read along for a bit with you guys. We gonna get an extra long ep for issue 29? Its a 300 page beef slab, lol.

[VHS-mart @JoshuaAyres15]

@thedanjurgens Remember signing these Wizards? Greta read! Death was my first storyline. Mom got me the trade. I was mad cause I thought it was the wrong comic. Was looking for black bag issue my friends had. But the joy when I relized I had the WHOLE STORY!! Thnx Dan and Mom!!
