Through the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF), we launched the distribution of sanitary towels to schools in Matayos Constituency at Nasira RC Comprehensive School.
Our girls have started receiving sanitary towels to support menstrual hygiene, promote dignity and ensure they attend school with confidence. The exercise will continue in the remaining constituencies, with each beneficiary receiving five packets of sanitary towels.
We also commissioned drilled water at Nasira RC Comprehensive School to improve access to clean water for learners and the school community. Will help reduce the burden of fetching water, which can expose children to child labour and take valuable time away from their studies. With reliable access to water at school, learners can concentrate better on their education in a healthier learning environment.
Today at Chungwa House, we received a number of ODM aspirants who have offered themselves to serve our people in the 2027 elections.
We had a candid conversation about party discipline, grassroots mobilisation, unity and the responsibility that comes with seeking the ODM ticket. Every candidate must put the interests of the people first and remain committed to strengthening the party at the grassroots.
I received:
Omar Ahmed, MP aspirant for Kamukunji
Rodgers Mukani, MP aspirant for Funyula
Sylvester Were, MCA aspirant for Bunyala South
Luqman Mohammed, MCA aspirant for Karen Ward
Maximila Oundo, MCA aspirant for Kileleshwa Ward
