Life advice is everywhere (books, podcasts, quotes)
It's a mistake to treat it as absolute truth.
No single philosophy wins in every situation.
Each problem requires its own approach. Stay flexible, think critically, and adapt.
I would say I'm agnostic. My dad was Catholic, my mother raised Baptist but not strictly. I never hated it, my parents were kind and great people. I just found what works for me going through life. I don't inherently dislike people of religion, or those without. I don't think it's an automatic qualifier for how I judge or interact with someone.
I felt kind of cynical this morning,
then we decided to get out.
Went to the Midsommar Swedish Festival today in Bellevue.
My expectant wonderful wife wore her traditional Swedish dress.
Looking forward to the next addition to our family.
Generational names serve their purpose, but they can overgeneralize. Baby Boomers are considered people born between 1946 and 1964. It's kind of arbitrary considering someone born in 1946 would be 18 years old in 1964 and able to start a family. With the possibility of both parent and child being considered of the same generational era.
What if bot profiles are the spirits of deceased influencers?
Lingering and meandering the digital space. Spreading from real people,
Since they are unable to have legitimate conversations and interactions.
A form of punishment.
@PaulHPowell13 I see what you're saying. One for me is "What would the world be like if people couldn't lie and only told the truth?". I just can't follow along with it.
My six-year-old son is beginning to comprehend death.
I don't like to scare him, but it's important to learn.
He understands the importance of looking both ways on a busy road due to this reason.
He also loves dinosaurs and remembers the story of the asteroid that wiped them out.
Last night, he asked "Will another asteroid come again?" (with the possibility of killing us all)
I thought about it and said, "Don't worry about it".
Not sure if every situation needs to be a reminder?
