Kendrick Lamar is once again at the center of the GRAMMY conversation.
Lamar leads the 2026 nominations with nine nods for ‘GNX,’ including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year for ‘luther’ with SZA. The album also landed nominations for Best Rap Album, while ‘tv off’ and ‘Chains & Whips’ picked up multiple rap performance and song honors. Add in Best Melodic Rap Performance and a Pop Duo/Group nod for ‘30 For 30,’ and ‘GNX’ is everywhere.
The stakes are familiar. Lamar already holds 22 career GRAMMYs and more than 55 nominations, and just last year he swept all five categories he was nominated in with ‘Not Like Us,’ including Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
