@xAsamoahx God is the one who must prepare the table. We are not to prepare our own table. The Bible also says to “boast in the Lord”, not boast in ourselves.
@aztec9887@BigHerm118@Jacobtheclipper Lakers were up 13 with 2:35. 115-102, when Kobe was at 74. He scored 7 extra points on free throws in the last 2:35, not 5 in the last minute. 13 is a solid lead with that amount of time but the game was not decided. Crazier comebacks have happened in less time.
@himwitdacam@AshNicoleMoss A reason, but not the only reason. It’s also a good reason. If you are going to pass Kobe, do it the way Kobe did it or don’t do it at all. That wasn’t good basketball by the Heat.
@BigHerm118@aztec9887@Jacobtheclipper This is what people are failing to understand. Kobe wasn’t chasing a record. He was just being Kobe in the flow of the game. Bam and the Heat were obviously trying to get more than 81 with the game already in the bag.
@BSO Also, Kobe’s ‘06 season was legendary. He was a one man show averaging 35 with multiple high scoring games willing his team to the playoffs. His 81 was an exclamation point. Bam’s is a random outlier on a 20ppg season. It’s just different.
@Jacobtheclipper It depends if you want to say the tap was having control of the ball. It’s similar to when players are going for a loose ball or rebound and a player would tap the ball in the air to himself, get control of the ball, then start their dribble.
@MightiJamie So you’re telling me that Minister Farrakhan is recorded on video confessing to the killing of Malcolm X in front of thousands of people, yet he is not in prison? My brother, you’re smarter than this. Stop the nonsense.
