@xpangler@Variety A footnote to this story, only three weeks ago Nexstar hollowed out the @WGNTV newsroom in Chicago, supposedly to free up cash in anticipation of debt incurred in this merger. I don’t see how that aligns with Perry Sook’s comments about how this action helps sustain local news.

@BronaghTumulty@WGNNews (Continued) Leaving other residents responsible to pay for the actual water usage that was billed as estimates. Simply responding to the village for a free repair, at the first notice or estimated water bill, prevents this whole situation. No surprises 6 months later.

Ignoring the notices results in being undercharged for the amount of water you actually use, leaving other residents responsible (cont.)
@BronaghTumulty@WGNNews Woefully incomplete reporting. ALL residents who have malfunctioning meter transmitters (not the meter, the device that transmits your usage wirelessly to the village is causing this) receive notices to have this replaced, for free, to avoid this exact situation. (Continued)
