The Youngstown League Colt Allstars, made up of many local players, earned a spot in the World Series at Marion, Illinois by winning the East Zone Championship in Greensboro, NC. The team went 3-0 with wins against Greensboro White (14-6), Grand Slam (7-0), and Greensboro Green (6-3) for the crown. This is the second World Series trip in a row for Youngstown. They will open up Friday in a double elimination tournament against Southern Illinois
