You don't need spectacular phenomena to uncover & develop students' ideas. Phenomena can be as simple as a pair of jeans hung out to dry or a thermometer inside a mitten. USI books have lots of examples of familiar phenomena #NGSS #phenomena #NSTA #formative #SciEd
