Or if he felt like he wasn't up to it himself, which from what I've seen of his character so far sounds unlikely, (he'd definitely be able to pull it off) why not have someone else kill, or at the very least, hurt L with the use of the Death Note?
Just recently started watching Death Note and so far I'm loving it.
I'm still early in the anime so maybe later episodes might clear up this "plot hole," but I was wondering, why doesn't Light just kill L without the use of the death Note?

Did anyone else used to think that instead of hiring a stunt double, they should just hire the stunt double to be the actor as well so that the character can be played by the same person?
It just made sense to me, you know.
An embarrassing truth I hate to admit is that I watched Blade Runner probably more than 10 times, and it wasn't until my last viewing of it that I realized the true depth of the story.
No, seriously, I didn't realize what I was watching until it LITERALLY clicked watching it for the 10th time.
I finally re-entered the work force after a year break, and lately I've been so worried about how I spend my time. Never realized how fast the days are going go.
I can understand when writers aren't good artists, but not when artists are bad writers, (in the storyteller sense, not literary sense.)
Does anyone else feel the same?
