Those out there that use Blender for environments, are there any good UV addons that help align textures along walls? Having hammer like UV tools in blender would help out a ton right now!
I've managed to find a good discord server for weapon modeling, but are there any for environment design? I'm starting to pivot towards that and could use a nice community to show stuff off to.
Zbrush for iPad is still a ways off, but I highly recommend checking out Nomad Sculpt if you wanna start dipping your hands into sculpting on an ipad.
The UI is clean, purpose built for a tablet, and it seems really capable of doing a lot.
It's also a 1 time $15 purchase.
@joejmillion It was modeled in the high poly then baked down to a pretty simple low poly mesh. Tri count for the entire gun was around 22k if I recall!
Lil radio thing I saw in Starfield.
Not super accurate, but just trying to replicate neat things I find, and see how fast I can build them in Plasticity.
This one took about 25 minutes of just casual messing around.
