@BeauBishop it won’t come quickly, but college athletics as we know them, are dead. The structure is flawed. Club level sports will remain but if athletes are intent on getting paid, it will have to come through a more robust minor league system in football and basketball.

@theblockspot It’s unfortunate, but I wouldn’t categorize it as a problem. I think this comes with the territory of a collision sport, platoon/unlimited substitutions allowing recovery and higher effective play speed, and these athletes inching closer to absolute peak human performance

The 1950 NFL Championship

One of the most dramatic title games ever played

Cleveland's Lou Groza kicks a 16-yard field goal with :28 left to lift the #Browns to a dramatic 30-28 win over the (formerly #Cleveland) Rams.

The victory caps the Browns' first NFL season with their first NFL title, after having won four straight AAFC titles from 1946-49.
