Last year Anthony Albanese was asked on Brisbane radio "What are we actually going to do with migration numbers?" The PM answered that "We'll halve numbers down to 260,000 in the coming financial year."
Yesterday, the net migration data come out for that financial year (2024-25). The PM broke his promise and 306,000 migrants arrived in Australia last financial year.
Over the Labor's first 3 years in office 1.3 million migrants have arrived in Australia in net terms. That is one migrant every 75 seconds. This is by far the largest migrant intake over a three year period in our history - the previous peak was 815,000 over three years during the Rudd Government.
While migration numbers are falling they remain more than double the pre-COVID average this century of 202,200 a year.
Labor's mass migration policies are creating homelessness, increasing hospital waiting times and destroying our social harmony. We have to cut migration numbers now.
We learned one very important thing tonight — President Donald Trump is willing to die for this country.
Willing to die for this movement.
Willing to die for us.
Vote for the guy who is willing to die for what he believes in.
Thats real 🇺🇸
@KamalaHarris@JoeBiden Seems like you work for the illegal migrants not the American people! Heck, even a dancing monkey could run this country better than the job you two are doing! It's almost comical, isn't it? 😂"
@JoeBiden Yo, Sleepy Joe! Why not post something worth posting that might have a positive impact on the world instead of constantly taking cheap shots at @realDonaldTrump 🤙🏼🇦🇺🇺🇸
