Props to the marketing geniuses at magazines like #Maxim and #Inked, that came up w/ contests to have aspiring models do marketing + casting for them AND keeping their companies afloat, by having models encourage their supporters to pay to vote.

They use the old “we donate a portion of proceeds to charity” line.

The “winner” gets $25k, then they cut a check to charities for 20-25% of gross votes, and pocket a cool 1.8 - 2 MILLION DOLLARS.

Just thinking about the new home we rented while we were stationed in Fargo:

When rental companies say that they’re pet friendly, but charge a $2500 non-refundable deposit + monthly pet rent, I think that they should work on redefining their definition of “pet friendly” 🐾
