@TECleveland @cremieuxrecueil Despite some bogus grants, a lot of government is like this cartoon. I bet this "small team" would find a line item for "screwworm sterilization" and delete it, not knowing that they just devastated American farming: https://t.co/OAnAkxDSEK
DOGE didn't make a dent in the deficit, but it did bring back screwworm and enable a historically large new Ebola outbreak, so it's not like they didn't achieve *anything*
Harmeet Dhillon sued 30 states to get their voter rolls. Lost every single case in court. Five straight defeats.
After getting access to nearly half of all state voter rolls anyway, her office found - by her own count - "dozens" of noncitizen registrants. Dozens. Out of hundreds of millions of votes cast in the last five federal elections.
Utah reviewed 2 million registered voters and found one noncitizen registration. Zero votes cast. Georgia checked 8.2 million voters. Found 20.
The Heritage Foundation - not exactly a liberal stronghold - has been tracking this for 43 years. Their own database shows 99 documented cases of noncitizen voting since 1982. Two point three cases per year.
This isn't an election integrity campaign. A federal judge said he was "not required to accept pretextual, formalistic explanations untethered to the reality of what the government has said outside of the courtroom." The DOJ got caught telling one judge it wouldn't share voter data with DHS while telling another judge it already had. The lawsuits are riddled with typos, blown deadlines, and contradictory filings.
The fraud here isn't in the voter rolls. It's in the framing.
Yes. Trump’s EPA issued a March 2026 emergency waiver allowing nationwide summer sales of E15 (15% ethanol). It expands availability of the blend as an option at the pump. E15 has ~1.7% lower energy content than standard E10, so fuel efficiency drops slightly (real-world MPG impact is small). Goal: boost supply and ease prices. Not a universal change to all gasoline.
New: About three months before the Pentagon announced plans to lend $620 million to Vulcan Elements, Donald Trump Jr.’s venture capital firm took an undisclosed stake in the company. https://t.co/pvAqedZCSp
BREAKING: Look at this.
$DELL just won a five-year $9.7 billion Pentagon software agreement for the US military.
But Trump also bought $DELL.
He bought multiple times since February 10th, up to more than $5,000,000.
On May 8th, he said: "Go out and buy a Dell."
Unusual.

The Trump administration has repealed drinking water limits for four different PFAS forever chemicals.
Water providers will no longer have to test or filter for the pollutants.
BAIER: You said this summit is a success. What's the most significant specific win for the US?
TRUMP: I think the most important thing is relationship. I have a very good relationship with President Xi.
(So, nothing.)
