THE PARADOX OF DEATH
Humanity is intrigued by immortality: in the folklore, myths & creed of every culture are echoes of our collective resilient fantasies per immortality. Sci-Fi books/movies abound all around us on this enigmatic subject of immortality. In sum: we sustain a copious, curious resistance to the overworn fact that Humans die.
We don't want to die. Nay, even more: we don't think we SHOULD die.
Yet, there is a dilemma; two related sets of conflict, really. A first set is underpinned by Geography & the second set is underpinned by Anthropology.
Geography:
This is irrespective of where (nation or city) we live. When we've been home for a while, we want a "change of environment." So, we change environment, & after a while, we begin to miss home again – desiring to go back. Only to soon long for a change of environment – all over again.
So, we long for 'an environment' but neither our normal location nor a holiday destination provide the environment we tenaciously seek. This 'place' that we need & seek eludes us everywhere.
FIRST SUMMARY: Home and abroad, we still long for 'home'. Home is not 'home', because we are never truly 'at home,' even at home.
Anthropology:
When someone dies, we feel cheated, slapped, defeated by death, because somewhere inside, we habour a bizarre notion – more like a recollection than a notion – that humans were meant to live here & to never leave.
We don't merely FEEL our loss of the deceased. It's not just that we miss her. Rather, we have this stubborn FEELING that the dead herself has been violated, plucked from her legitimate geography – by the defiance of death. This FEELING stalks us, and we're helpless at its hands.
We happen to know, even if we don't know how we've come to know, that wholly apart from whether we miss the dead or not, death has no business among humans. People have died for as long as human history has existed, but strangely, as a species, we're still not cool with death, we can't be reconciled to the brute fact of our seeming inescapable mortality.
Death never feels genuine/original. Never.
A stranger dies. we don't know them enough to miss them, yet we seem to know just enough to insist, "This ought not to have happened; they ought not to have left..." Meanwhile, geography-wise, we don't feel absolutely at home in this world.
So, we don't want to leave here & at the same time, we don't feel we fit right here where we live.
2ND SUMMARY: We don't want to die, & we don't want this world, even though we want to leave, since we don't feel that human death is legitimate.
The Bible steps in & says:
You were meant to live forever, &
This is home, even though this is not yet home!

This is a screenshot of my conversation with both GTbank and Moniepoint, Gtbank said it was successful, but Moniepoint said it failed.
This is beginning to get so annoying and uncalled for how an institution would hold their customers money..

How can money be lost in between? I transferred money from GTBank to Moniepoint. GTBank claimed to be successful, but Moniepoint said it failed. Where is my money?
