The incoming US @realDonaldTrump administration has valid concerns related to illegal activities at our shared border. We are calling on the federal government to work with the incoming administration to resolve these issues immediately, thereby avoiding any unnecessary tariffs on Canadian exports to the U.S.
Fortunately, the vast majority of Alberta’s energy exports to the U.S. are delivered through secure and safe pipelines which do not in any way contribute to these illegal activities at the border.
As the largest exporter of oil and gas to the U.S., we look forward to working with the new administration to strengthen energy security for both the U.S. and Canada.
Big News for Alberta’s Energy Future!
Our government is investing up to $50 million to launch the Alberta Drilling Accelerator—an open-access test site for Alberta’s world-class drillers to innovate and push boundaries.
This isn’t just about oil and gas. Drilling innovation will drive key industries like:
➡️ Carbon sequestration
➡️ Geothermal energy
➡️ Critical minerals and helium extraction
With partners like Eavor Technologies, Tourmaline, and Halliburton Canada, this initiative will attract millions in private investment and keep Alberta leading on the global stage.

We can’t control prices at the checkout counter, but we can offer some relief.
That’s why we’re removing the GST from essential items like groceries, children’s clothing, diapers—even toys and games—so you can save money this holiday season and into the new year.
We're delivering a tax break for Canadians and more money in workers’ pockets.
But Pierre Poilievre is focused on making cuts to the services Canadians rely on.
After two months straight of demanding the corrupt Liberals turn over all the green slush fund documents to the RCMP - here’s some thoughts on what went down in Canada this weekend. Time to stop acting surprised about all this.
We need an election now — to restore the country we once knew and loved. 🇨🇦
Trudeau deflected blame for the gridlock, suggesting ‘Canada is broken’ because of the Conservative Party. Usual House business has been delayed for not providing unredacted documents concerning a defunct ‘green slush fund.’

Glad to welcome him to Canada today.
