Air quality in California right now. We’re fifty miles from the biggest fires and you can taste smoke with every breath. I’m young, healthy, and staying indoors and have a headache like I’m at altitude.
I really wish we had a better vocabulary to talk about fire in California. Fire season is scary, and climate change is making it worse. But even if we mitigate climate change, fire is always going to be with us. It’s a part of the ecology of this place.

The tear gas wasn’t tear gas. The photo op wasn’t a photo op. The protests weren’t peaceful. The death toll is exaggerated. The virus isn’t that bad. The economy doesn’t need any more help.

@maosbot The healthiest people I know are 7th day Adventist vegetarians. Whatever they’re eating is the right thing. I don’t imagine you’re running much these days? Do you know your vitamin D status? If you used sun block you might be low, it wouldn’t hurt to supplement. Best of luck.
