No so not on side in 24 hours you would always have a spare of 10 hours so go ahead look for organisation that are hiring and open source try contributing there and they might hire you. Also you have very less time so it is game of probability if you apply 1000+ places you would get only 5-10 interviews plus off campus is also hard if you just want job so you need to play probability game.
Once you have like 2-3 months of open source contributions you would have a good profile.
Now if you have time there are opportunities like LFX and gsoc lfx is conducted thrice a year.
All the best in job hunts and dont fall for the trap of people sharing job posting or companies that Gaurantee you jobs. Hope this helps.
Hot take: “Job market saturation” is the new excuse, unless you’re genuinely unlucky
or you’re just not putting in the work when it comes to applying.
You only need one offer. I’ve seen tier-3 folks pull 30–50 LPA because they focused
on building skills for four years instead of wasting time on distractions.
The market is tough, but it still rewards consistency and competence.
@kapilansh_twt Nope not really if you work hard during your 4 years you would be on same level and solving 700 lc questions is nothing. You need brand value like ICPC, GSoC or some major wins in big hackathons not SIH
during your first 3 years of btech you were watching movies and clubbing. now you’re crying about not getting a job, or only landing a 3-5 lpa package???
what did you expect, bro?💀 now you want roadmaps? you f*cked around and found out. deal with it.
@anv3shh Take liar's bar for example when I run this game on very low my laptop fans are at 5200 rpm and not while playing fortnite kinda weird. Then Zepto is also a good example. Means everywhere you look you can see it. Developers are just shipping not optimizing making it a bad ux.
After a refreshing career break, I’m excited to join a stealth startup as an SDE, working with Golang, DevOps, and Terraform.
Grateful to be building alongside some incredible minds and seasoned pros. Big things ahead! 🚀
