WOW: Ray Vaughn delivers a powerful new freestyle for On The Radar, addressing Adin Ross disrespecting Doechii:
“They screamin ‘industry plant’ but they left blood on her leaves”
“White feet on the culture, they emulate the blueprint / Mock the origin then monetize off the movement / With a sound like a costume / Then they discard the human”
Artists like J. Cole aren’t selling CDs because they anticipate fans playing them. The same applies to cassette tapes and half of all vinyl purchases. Physical formats hold value because they’re tangible. You can hold, display, and cherish them. It’s about a connection!
Tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of Be. It’s hard to grasp that it was 20 years ago. What Ye was doing was super special, what J Dilla was doing was super special and I am forever grateful to them and everyone who contributed to this album. Be means so much to me because I have had so many different types of people tell me what it means to them. And there is no greater feeling than to have your music mean something. Thank you GOD you are the greatest.
In celebration of this album, we have pressed a 2LP translucent yellow marble blend. This limited-edition vinyl includes the original track list on LP 1 and the albums instrumentals on LP 2. The first 750 copies will include a signed print from me of the album cover.
We have also released a deluxe version on all streaming services which features the album, instrumentals, and these bonus cuts. Go check it out wherever you listen to music and celebrate 20 years of Be with me. https://t.co/KLM22wiSZ3

It’s been some pretty good discourse over the past few days about Hip Hop Journalism. Shout out to Hip Hop Media as whole. It’s absolutely needed and it pushes the culture forward. It’s “trash” in every field across the board but it’s also greatness there as well. This was a time to address the trash, and even that is a matter of opinion. Let’s keep building and expanding.
Thank you @MusiCares for supporting Florida + musicians around the country🐊

A cultural reset is needed.
Everything is in disarray. It used to be an honor to get posted and a write up in a blog. Now you just pay for it. Even if it's ass they'll share it. There's nothing genuine about it any of it. Our hip hop media barely post music. It's all gossip and messy shit. The amount of negativity being consumed is disgusting. We're cultivating really nasty spaces for artists and fans to exist.
