To build off of Isaac's tweet, if you notice a verified Twitter account making oddly grandiose, society-condeming, multi-paragraph remarks in a QT over some dumb news headline or clip...
They're likely trying to get engagement to boost their stuff and get that Twitter Money™.
Most of online discourse has become profoundly boring to me, and I don’t know how to make things interesting again. Talking about personal projects gets zero traction, and there’s only so many times you can spar with the average anon before it becomes rote.
The concept of a Portal Fantasy fan who's an atheist is (kinda) odd to me since a lot of the genre's origins is rooted in Celtic Paganism, made popular by an Anglican epic poem, further explored in novel form by a Scottish minister, and canonized in modern fantasy by C.S Lewis.
@ReaganLodge@teelokay As an American, seeing genuine beef against Europeans on here is funny to me because a lot of our pop culture is contingent on the works of Moebius (French comic artist) and George MacDonald (Scottish writer).
