@pbjrecon@MTGGoldfish I'm a White stan since forever and this is next Divine Gambit. People are huffing gallons of copium to think this is even mid, especially when the Black equivalent gets Reanimate. Hoping the White Emeritus is better
@UsagiKaede1@PoetofGallifrey Maybe, but they're at least very close and I haven't seen a single card + 4 creature arbitrary Storm count combo with Silverquill. I guess he goes in every Teysa Karlov deck at least?
@stonegreyfox91@VitorTrin@UsagiKaede1 Oh how well the need to use a Witherbloom card to make the founder of Silverquill alright illustrates the current gap between White and Green design right now
@PoetofGallifrey@UsagiKaede1 Green has an even easier time making tokens and Witherbloom's upside is fixed rather than taxed. Witherbloom wins out easily in value, and given the potency of Green non-removal Instant/Sorcery spells, they'd still be better off even if the abilities broke even at face value
@BDEgameowners Cool, pay the 1 every time and lose to the cumulitive mana advantage they gain. Or lose to the decision a different player makes to never pay the 1. Or do a mix and lose to the mix. Card's and it'd be a better format without it,
@BDEgameowners Battles are a fine idea, Sieges suck. Give me Sorties that etb under my control, Deadmarches that attach to a creature an opponent controls, or Routs with a "This battle deals damage equal to the number of counters on to each creatue then exile it."
@MillThat Ban it because maybe then tournament cEDH won't be a circus of slow play, angle shooting for the draw, and 6 hour games revolving around a single stack
@MillThat I have 2 speculations, both suck
1) The different prices have different extra cards or pools of extra cards so the "drop" is the same, but the full contents are different
2) They will announce the lost from consumers buying the $10 one and use it to justify higher prices
