It's been an amazing four-year ride at @UTCNow! My thanks to our members, board, & of course the tremendous staff... Looking forward to checking back in with you via @CEOPublicPower@publicpowerorg!
As we near the end of #CI & resilience month, wanted to acknowledge @CISAgov & @CISAHarrell for their work in promoting infrastructure #resilience and investment! @UTCnow is #thankful for their service & the never-ending commitment of the utility workforce to keep our lights on
While we all love the excitement of the holidays, don’t forget to embrace & be thankful for the calm days of fall. Check out my latest blog for some thoughts as I approach the end of my tenure at UTC https://t.co/cEJZ9g6Vw4
Congrats to @BrandonPresley upon his election as @NARUC president! @UTC looks forward to working with you on numerous issues, particularly on the ways utilities can empower #broadband connectivity!
Earlier today in San Antonio, I was elected by commissioners from all 50 states and U. S. territories to serve as President of our national association of Public Service Commissioners (@NARUC ). I sincerely thank my sister, @GretaPresley for being there today!
You can always count on @UTCNow Board Chair Greg Angst to settle up on his bets! Sporting my new #Nats hat today! Thanks Greg and Congrats to the World Champion @Nationals!
Chairman Presley—this is such a wonderful sentiment to send to all those utility workers who sacrifice so much to power our lives. On behalf of UTC, thank you for this resolution
Today, I proposed, and the Public Service Commission unanimously passed, a resolution for our agency to recognize every April as “Utility Worker Appreciation Month” to highlight the hard, dangerous work of all women and men who power our lives keep all utility services available.
With DC-based @JoyDitto’s #Nationals going up against @UTCNow Board Chair Greg Angst’s #Astros, we’ve got a wager between the two—if the Astros win, Joy buys Greg an Astros cap, and vice versa should the #Nats win! Keep up with the latest here!
How do utility pole-attachment policies impact #ruralbroadband? Not that much. How do these policies negatively impact electricity reliability? Perhaps more than you think. Check out my latest blog here; I'd love your feedback! https://t.co/Gta3JQ12WR
My thanks @SecretaryPerry for his leadership at the @Energy department. We greatly appreciate his agency weighing to protect critical utility comms networks against an ill-advised proposal pending at the @FCC; Thank you, Sec Perry, for your support, and best wishes!
My thx to the UTC board & staff for their guidance and incredible work, and to my family for their unwavering support. Godspeed! (2/2) https://t.co/U4JQozkbJw
Today is a bittersweet day for me; I can’t wait to begin a new journey as CEO of @publicpowerorg but am sad to leave the tremendous team @UTCNow. I have learned so much about the industry and myself & I will take those lessons with me (1/2)
It's clear that the US is losing the #connectivity race. Why? B/c of rules in certain states that prohibit utilities from providing such services. If we’re in it to win it (& we have to be) we must empower #utilities to provide #broadband. Read more here: https://t.co/08mOOu0bKm

The stunning lack of respect for all human life demonstrated by the 9/11 terrorists is a caution to every free nation, and we should be ever vigilant against those who wish to do us harm. We should also always thank and remember our first responders, the true heroes on 9/11
On this somber day, we pay our respects to the almost 3,000 people who lost their lives on September 11–people who were just going to work in NYC and at the Pentagon and/or trying to save those trapped in the Twin Towers
