Watching her fancams from Pureflow tour makes me realize once again of why she's my bias.🥹 Watching her growing since 2018 till now, I'm so so proud of her.💖 She's really shines the brightest when performing. She's born to be an idol. I love you so much, kkura yah.🫶 #sakumail
Billboard Brazil noted that using “Macarena” to talk about facing fears is a very unusual choice, and asked how the idea of delivering a deeper message through such a dance-heavy song came about.
SAKURA explained:
Fear is a very universal emotion that everyone experiences easily whether from the pressure to perform perfectly or from loving something so much that you’re afraid of losing it. Because it’s so relatable, the group wanted to send the message that instead of letting fear overwhelm us, we can come together, embrace it, and even celebrate it like a festival.
Billboard Brazil asked how LE SSERAFIM deals with their own expectations when always trying to explore new skills with each comeback, and whether they are very strict with themselves.
SAKURA answered:
“Although I’ve been in this industry for a long time, I still feel excited whenever I discover a new side of myself. Instead of pressuring myself to do everything perfectly, I try to approach each song with curiosity for example, asking myself how I should sing it. I believe this mentality actually leads to better results. For me, the best way is to enjoy whatever I’m doing.”
