Feeling anxious? The physiological sigh is a quick way to combat anxiety and stress.
Take one deep inhale, immediately followed by another sharp inhale, and a long, slow, sighing exhale.
In just five minutes, this can lower your anxiety and improve your mood.
A huge task I just completed: writing my 1st collaborative book! It's an anti-racism HOW TO guide for White allies. As psychologists, we used our therapy skills to create skill-building exercises to help allies overcome barriers that get in the way of doing effective anti-racism.
Reflecting on an incredible experience✨I had the honor of presenting research at @ABCTNOW with the @CMIV_SIG and @CAD_SIG . I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to connect with industry leaders and my peers! 🧠📊📚
