•Must document every step of the process.
*RESTRICTION (Patient Prevails):
•Duty to treat overrides his objection in medical emergencies
•Objections cannot be used as a tool for discrimination
•Must never abandon a patient
Objections cannot be raised out of mere convenience
The law understands the need for a healthcare professional to opt out of certain procedures, thus exercising a right to refuse care.
In healthcare delivery, balancing personal moral convictions with professional duties is a delicate act.
*RESPONSIBILITY (Healthcare Professional’s Duty):
•Must declare his objection early and in writing.
•Obligated to provide neutral, objective information to the patient.
•Must refer the patient to a willing colleague to ensure continuity of care.
*RIGHT (Healthcare Professional is Protected):
•Right to refuse to participate in acts that violate his personal conscience.
•Protection is grounded in law and professional codes.
•Strictly personal, never institutional.
•Not a blanket license to refuse care.
Conscientious Objection allows healthcare providers to step back from certain procedures that violate their deeply held moral or religious
belief, but it is never an absolute privilege.

@JessicaOkeke18 🤣🤣Come to think of it, what can one do about it? Definitely nothing on social media. There are 1001 reasons she posted him. If his associations bring me embarrassment, he should take steps to sort me out. Accord me due respect or I respect myself and do the needful.
