Oh no. Some Democrats are skipping the State of the Union. Stop the presses. Alert the villagers. Lower the flags to half-staff. They’re not just skipping it, they’re announcing it. Like they just stormed the beaches of Normandy instead of deciding not to sit in a chair for an hour. Who gives a shit? Not me. Honestly. Do they think America is sitting around clutching pearls going, “But will Congresswoman Whoever be in attendance??” Most people are trying to survive the damn week. Nobody is refreshing C-SPAN for attendance updates.

If you don’t want to go, don’t go. Stay home. Eat ice cream. Rage tweet in your pajamas. But spare us the dramatic press conference about how you’re “taking a stand.” Not showing up to a speech isn’t brave. It’s lazy with a PR team.

The funniest part is, they’ll skip it tonight, then be on every network tomorrow dissecting every sentence like they were personally victimized by punctuation. They won’t listen in person, won’t clap, won’t show even the bare minimum of institutional respect…but you better believe they’ll have their outrage scripts memorized by sunrise. That’s their whole game. Performance politics. They don’t govern. They posture. They don’t solve problems. They stage tantrums.

And they act like their absence is some moral earthquake. It’s not. It’s a scheduling decision. The average American doesn’t give a shit who warms a seat in Congress for an hour. What people care about is whether anything actually gets fixed. Border. Economy. Crime. Inflation. You know....real life.

But instead we get, “I will NOT be attending.” Wow. Stunning. Courageous. Truly revolutionary. The country will keep spinning. And tomorrow? They’ll still be bitching. As usual.

🚨BREAKING: CA on Track to Have a Per-Mile Tax by Next Year.

People protest ICE, but ignore this: 41 CA Democrats voted in the State Assembly to potentially impose a 2 to 9 cent per mile tax on drivers and the amount owed would be tracked by a vehicle’s odometer.

Before codifying this, a California Transportation Commission will first be tasked with providing recommendations on how costly it should be, ranging anywhere from $1,200 to $4,200 per year per family.

Compound this onto Joe Biden’s surveillance law mandating cars past 2026 must come with a kill switch that shuts off the car if “impairment” is detected. And then imagine this being extended to political behaviors, like evading your mileage tax.

Bear this in mind as Newsom embarks on a 2028 candidacy: If we 17 million taxpayers throw an additional $71.4 billion at the Governor with this new tax, it will most certainly go to waste on the CARE Act, healthcare fraud, or something else.

Some, like the asshole I once worked for, take out fraudulent loans to buy fancy cars and steal from their tipped staff to pay other employees.
