@barkervogues This is a true leader 4 God's sake let's hail him OSAGYEFO OLIVER BARKER-VORMAWO u r e Hero of this country Ghana 🇬🇭 God bless you, Sir.
I'm joining u soon! I have asked my mother to care of my three children for me... Some of us can not sit down n suffer like that under NPP.
I just set off from my house for day 2 of #OccupyJulorbiHouse
We are meeting at 37 trotro Station. I don't know what the police plan to do. But i have packed my jail pack. 1 boxer shorts, 1 towel, 1 dettol, 1 mosquito repellent.
May posterity remember the price of their freedom!
A lot of people are asking, “what’s the OccupyJulorbiDemo about?” Let’s break it down for you.
Julorbi is a deliberate misspelling of Jubilee House, Ghana’s seat of government.
Julorbi is a Ga word which means child of a thief.
This hashtag was coined by Democracy Hub, an Accra-based civil society group to help seek reforms in the country.
The reasons for the protest includes:
1. The economic mismanagement by the incumbent government
2. Corruption scandals which are not addressed but swept under the carpet
3. Ineffective health-care system in Ghana
4. Countless human rights abuse that have occurred under the current government and the previous ones
5. Abuse of power and authority by those Ghanaians have selected to lead them as a people.
The protest was supposed to come off on 21st September, 2023, which is symbolic because it marks the birthday of Kwame Nkrumah, who fought for Ghana’s independence. However, what was supposed to be a peaceful protest was disrupted as police men came in their numbers and arrested all those who happened to be at the convergence point and even arrested innocent bystanders whose only crimes were that they happened to be in a black or red outfit.
There were reports of people being beaten up and phones being seized so that there won’t be evidence of occurrences. Journalists and lawyers were not left out of this maltreatment by the police whose primary mandate is to serve and protect with integrity.
The protest continues today with full force as the spirits of Ghanaians refuses to be let down by the activities of yesterday.
The fight for a better Ghana is a collective effort that requires unity, determination and the active participation of every citizen.
In early May this year, a guy drove into the back of my Car right around Tesano police station, sometime around 6pm.
I was stepping out for a rendezvous. And my entire evening was ruined. I got home around 11pm.
The guy begged for us to exchange numbers and both drive away. Never mind that my car was not even drivable. He promised that he will pay me later to settle the issue. I declined. I insisted that I did not want any money from him. Since he was insured, I wanted us to do the proper thing and file an insurance claim.
He didn’t understand. He insisted that going the police route will just complicate everything. He felt I was punishing him, for insisting that we do the right thing.
Even the Police tried to get the matter removed from the Police station. They kept reacting to me for being the unreasonable party who didn’t want the matter to end quickly. At some point and in one of those meetings at the Police Commander’s office; I eventually got tired and said, okay fine. As long as the guy pays for the repairs, I am happy to have the matter withdrawn.
Ofcourse, the guy couldn’t pay for the repairs. And that went no where. But for 2 months, this guy with Police encouragement, will be calling my Phone, morning afternoon evening to withdraw the matter. As some point even, the guy having found out who I was, went to get family members to call me to withdraw the matter.
I just wanted a police report to file an insurance claim as you are supposed to. It was not the kind of accident to which the other guy would have been exposed to the risk of jail, by my insisting on the right thing being done.
Anyway, Since May, it has taken 5 months, to receive a 2 page police report which will enable me apply for insurance.
5 months. In that period, my car was immobilized and impounded at the Police station. While at the police station, thieves stole spare parts of the car.
It’s taken 5 months to get a 2 page police report. I can’t tell you how many times, the Police wanted to be paid something, even for the release of the report!
Our governance systems have been completely broken down! We are not governed; we are extorted from daily!
Everyone who chooses to do the right thing in our society is the fool! You are the weird one!
“Unfortunately, we have had too little experience of true democracy since independence. Like a bird kept in a cage for years we have come to think of the cage as a home rather than a prison. The door has been flung wide open, yet we huddle in a corner and refuse to leave.”

Neho! In all my constitutional advocacy in this country, I have come to realize that there is very little 4th Republican politicians are afraid of. They are God!
When I threaten legal action: they laugh for they own the Courts.
When I threaten demonstrations: they laugh for the own the Police.
When I threaten revolution: they laugh for the people are disorganized.
When I threaten coup: they arrest me. Why?
Now that I have seen it’s the only thing you are afraid of, I will keep trolling you thieves, with coup, saa, till the people find their feet and revolt! Or till you get BP from looking over your shoulders.
Signed
Chief Troll of the 4th Republic
A Constitution that did not and could not prevent the persecution of @char_osei as EC Chair. A Constitution that did not prevent illegal sacking of @DDomelevo. A constitution that is observed more in its breach than in its observance; is a smoke screen for rot!
Uproot it!
Cecilia Dapaah had $1 million, €300k, & over GHC 100 million at home, meanwhile:

Imagine how much is hidden in a vault by Addo D, Bawumia and co! Thieves!
To succeed, our revolution must not rely on; or wait for the military. They are useless. We must follow the Sri Lankan and the Romanian examples.
Nana Ceaușescu must go with his regime, the same way.
Shalom
Ghanaian women and women all over the world should stand up for Yvonne Nelson , what Sarkodie is doing to her is very very bad, so is he saying his wife, Tracy never changed boys before she met him. Men always hide behind such stories to run away from responsibilities, is a shame not to own up for your own kid, and now speaking this way. Men should act smart and be responsible for their actions. This is irresponsible.
