Jambojet confirms Ebola patient travelled on Entebbe-Nairobi flight

Jambojet has confirmed that the patient at the centre of Kenya’s Ebola health response travelled from Entebbe, Uganda, to Nairobi aboard flight JM 8523 on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

The airline says it is working with the Ministry of Health, Port Health Services and other authorities to identify and manage passengers and crew members who may have come into contact with the patient during the flight.

Jambojet says the health and safety of passengers, crew and staff remains its priority as authorities continue the public health response and contact tracing.

The airline has urged passengers and members of the public to rely on information released through official health authorities and its verified communication channels as investigations continue.
