Grace is a gift from God. A simple way to think of God's grace: the power of God working through your life. Grace is not just something God gives, it is His nature. What a great reminder of God's goodness! No wonder John Newton wrote, "Amazing grace! How sweet the sound..."

We are to be "imitators of God" (Eph 5:1) and we are to "be an example to all believers in what we say, in the way we live, in our love, our faith, and our purity." (1 Tim 4:12). Whoa! That's a lot of responsibility...but a responsibility that believers should take very seriously

You gotta love C. S. Lewis! He nails it every time. God is not some genie in a bottle ready to grant our every wish. Christianity does not equal comfort and happiness. It equals love and eternal life!
