Happy to meet H.E. Ms. Sena Latif, Ambassador of Romania to India, in New Delhi today during a courtesy call.
I expressed my heartfelt gratitude to Her Excellency for her kind support and encouragement to our KIIT and KISS students, who are now in Romania under the Erasmus+ programme. A group of 20 students from KIIT and KISS are presenting Shakespeare’s great works in Santali language and also showcasing the beautiful tribal culture and Santali dance of Odisha.
It gives me immense happiness that our tribal children from KISS are carrying the culture, tradition and talent of Odisha to an international platform. Such opportunities help them gain confidence, exposure and global friendship.
I also invited Her Excellency to visit KISS and witness our tribal culture, the talent of our children, and the same Santali dance and cultural performances which our students are presenting in Romania.
The 17th KIIT International Chess Festival 2026 concluded today with the final prize distribution ceremony at KIIT campus.
This year, KIIT had the honour of welcoming more than 4,000 players and officials from over 40 countries. The presence of 25 Grandmasters, 50 International Masters, many international title-holders and around 2,000 parents made the festival very special. It gives me great happiness to see KIIT becoming a global meeting place for chess players and chess lovers.
With a record prize pool of ₹1.31 crore, this festival was not only a competition, but also a celebration of talent, patience, discipline and friendship through chess.
My heartiest congratulations to GM Boris Savchenko, winner of Category A, along with GM Aleksej Aleksandrov, IM Aronyak Ghosh, IM Mayank Chakraborty and GM Nguyen Duc Hoa, who secured the top positions. I also congratulate all prize winners and every participant who played with dedication and sportsmanship.
I sincerely thank FIDE, AICF, Odisha Chess Association, all arbiters, officials, coaches, parents, volunteers and the entire KIIT-KISS family for making this festival successful.
At KIIT, we always believe that education and sports must go together. Chess teaches concentration, planning and patience. My best wishes to all the players. May they continue to shine and bring pride to their families, states and countries.
I feel very happy and emotional as Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) enters its 20th year of service to society.
On this special occasion, we felicitated our doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, technicians, paramedics, administrative staff, support staff and all members who have been part of the KIMS family since the beginning days of 2006. This was a small gesture to recognise their contribution, dedication and silent service, and ax noble journey with the same commitment.
I am deeply indebted to all doctors, staff, healthcare workers, patients, well-wishers and every member of the KIMS family who have tremendously contributed to the growth of KIMS.
KIMS is not only a hospital. It is a place of hope, healing and humanity.
The 13th International Day of Art of Giving has been celebrated today at an ICDS Centre in Bankura, WB. The program aimed to spread the values of kindness, sharing, and social responsibility among students and the local community.
@achyuta_samanta#ShareToShine#ArtofGiving
Heartiest congratulations to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModi Ji on the @BJP4India’s historic victory in West Bengal. This victory reflects the trust and hope of the people. My good wishes to him as he continues to work for the progress, peace and development of the nation.
Only 10 days to go for the 13th Anniversary of the International Day of Art of Giving.
Every year, this special day is celebrated with great love and happiness by millions of fan followers and well-wishers across 220 countries, every city and state of India, and every district, town and panchayat of Odisha.
This year’s theme is “Share to Shine.”
When you share what you have — your food, your time, your knowledge, your love, your effort — you do not become less. You shine from within.
I humbly invite all my dear members and followers of the Art of Giving family to celebrate this occasion wholeheartedly in your own simple way. Share a meal, help someone in need, spend time with others, plant a tree, donate blood, support a child’s education, or simply spread kindness and happiness around you.
Let us all come together and make this celebration more meaningful through love, sharing and humanity.
I am grateful to my mother for her unconditional love and blessings. Whatever I am today is because of her. Even today, I feel she is holding my hand and guiding me silently.
Happy Mother’s Day!
Happy to welcome Her Excellency Ms Laura Williams, Hon’ble U.S. Consul General, Hyderabad, to KIIT and KISS.
She visited our campuses, went around the facilities, and spent time meeting our faculty members, staff and students. I was happy that she closely saw the KIIT and KISS model and appreciated the work being done for education, inclusion and social development.
Her visit was a matter of happiness for all of us. My heartfelt thanks to her for taking the time to visit our campuses and for her kind appreciation of our work.

The ceremony was graced by His Excellency Shri Thawarchand Gehlot Ji, Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka; Shri Virendra Kumar Ji, Union Cabinet Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment; and Shri Inder Singh Parmar Ji, Minister of Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh.
I also thank Dr Amit Kumar Jain, Acting Vice-Chancellor of Shri Krishna University, and the entire university leadership for their affection, respect, warm hospitality, and for recognising my work in the field of education and social service.
Receiving this honour from a university committed to quality education, human values and social upliftment gives me deep happiness and humility. This honour is dedicated to my KIIT and KISS family, who have always been a part of my journey.
I feel very happy to see our KIIT & KISS children perform so well at the All-India Inter-University Rugby Championship 2026.
Our KIIT Women’s Team has won the Gold Medal, and the KIIT Men’s Team has secured the Silver Medal. Their effort, discipline and teamwork have brought happiness to all of us.
It is also a matter of happiness that both KIIT and KISS Men’s and Women’s teams have qualified for the upcoming Khelo India University Games. This shows how our children are growing steadily in sports with confidence and belief.
Through my efforts, I have always tried to give them an environment where they can learn, play and grow together. When they perform like this, it gives me quiet happiness.
My blessings are always with them. I wish all our players the very best for the upcoming games.
Today, on the birthday of Shri Anant Ambani Ji, I am very happy.
I felt real happiness when I saw the smiling faces of my 40,000 KISS children. Today, he has brought joy into their lives in a very simple and caring way. He is hosting a special dinner for all our children. I feel happy thinking that my children will sit together and enjoy this moment.
He has also announced scholarships for our children. Our topper students, from KG to PG, will get an opportunity to visit Vantara and learn many things there. Along with this, study materials have been given to all the children for this year, which will help them in their education.
It is also a matter of happiness that every year, 30 of our KISS children will get job opportunities in the Reliance Group. For children coming from very humble tribal families, this support means a lot. It gives them confidence and a new path in life.
I feel that such happiness has not come to my children in this way before. Today, we are not only happy, we are also very grateful.
Prayers from the 40,000 pure souls of KISS children for the good health, happiness and long life of Shri Anant Ambani Ji. May he continue to do such good work for society.

I am very happy to see that our effort to promote sports and develop sportsmanship through KISS is moving in the right direction, as our students are performing well at the Khelo India Tribal Games.
Odisha has secured 23 medals so far, and it is a matter of great happiness that 15 of these medals have come from our KISS students. The competitions are still going on, and we hope to see more in the coming days.
I feel especially happy for Ms. Anjali Munda, our KISS student, who has won 5 medals and has emerged as a golden girl of the Games. Her performance is a proud moment for all of us.
My congratulations to all the students. My good wishes to them for the days ahead.
I was very happy to meet our KISS students who have done well in swimming at the Khelo India Tribal Games 2026 and came to show their medals.
Seeing them with their medals gave me a quiet happiness. So far, our students have won 18 medals. Anjali Munda has performed very well by winning 5 gold medals, and other students have also won several gold and bronze medals.
When I see these children, I feel my dream to promote sports and develop sportsmanship through KISS is moving in the right direction. It makes me happy to see them grow in this way. I am sure they will go ahead and do well on bigger platforms.
My good wishes to all of them.
On the occasion of Utkala Dibasa, I joined our KIIT & KISS family in observing this special day with respect.
We offered floral tributes to the great sons of Odisha and remembered their contribution for the formation of our state. Their sacrifice and vision always guide us.
As Odisha moves towards completing 100 years in 2036, I feel happy to see the progress the state has made. In our own small way, KIIT & KISS have been working for more than three decades in education, healthcare, tribal development, sports and culture. We will continue to do our part for the development of Odisha. My good wishes to everyone on this day.
