Today, I met Shri @CRPaatil Ji; Hon'ble Union Minister of Jal Shakti, at Nabanna.
The Jal Jeevan Mission; a flagship Central Government initiative is poised to go on full throttle across West Bengal. This mission is the realization of Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji’s vision to deliver safe, potable tap water to every single household, even in the remotest corners of our state.

The West Bengal Government in collaboration with with the Jal Shakti Ministry will henceforth participate in important projects like Namami Gange Programme, Jal Shakti Abhiyan etc so that not only the State benefits but also projects of National importance are completed in a timely manner.

For too long, the previous State Govt deliberately tried to obstruct, stall and hijack such crucial projects and also tried to claim undue credit. But those days of deprivation are over.
The BJP Government is committed to ensuring smooth, unhindered implementation on the ground.

ম্যানগ্রোভ বা লবণাম্বু উদ্ভিদ একটি বিশেষ ধরনের উদ্ভিদ যা সাধারণত সমুদ্র উপকূলবর্তী অঞ্চলের নোনা জলে জন্মায়।
ম্যানগ্রোভ বন বা বাদাবন হলো প্রকৃতির এক অতুলনীয় রক্ষাকবচ, যার ভূমিকা উপকূল রক্ষা, জীববৈচিত্র্যের আশ্রয়স্থল এবং জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন মোকাবিলায় অপরিসীম। এ যেন উপকূলীয় অঞ্চলগুলোর জন্য একপ্রকার জীবন্ত প্রতিরক্ষা ব্যবস্থা।
এই অনন্য বাস্তুতন্ত্র সমুদ্রের জলোচ্ছ্বাস, ঝড়ঝঞ্ঝা, ঘূর্ণাবর্ত এবং অন্যান্য সামুদ্রিক সমস্যা থেকে উপকূলীয় এলাকা কে সুরক্ষিত রাখে। আর এই কর্দমাক্ত নোনা জলাভূমি হলো বহু পোকামাকড়, মাছ, সরীসৃপ, পাখি এবং অন্যান্য প্রাণীর আবাস।

মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়কে এখন আতঙ্ক গ্রাস করেছে।

উত্তরবঙ্গ যখন ভয়াবহ বন্যা ও ভূমিধ্বসের কবলে, যখন বহু মানুষ প্রাণ হারিয়েছেন ও হাজার হাজার মানুষ আশ্রয়হীন, সহায় সম্বলহীন হয়ে পড়েছেন, তখন সেই সময়ে তিনি সেলিব্রিটিদের সঙ্গে কার্নিভালে নাচানাচি করছিলেন। তাঁর এই অমানবিক আচরণে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মানুষ যে ক্ষুব্ধ ও বীতশ্রদ্ধ এই বাস্তবটা দেরীতে হলেও মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় অবশেষে উপলব্ধি করেছেন।

অন্যদিকে, বিজেপি'র সাংসদ ও বিধায়করা দুর্যোগপূর্ণ এলাকায় গতকাল থেকেই সাধারণ মানুষের পাশে থেকে সাধ্যমত ত্রাণ, খাবার ও সহায়তা ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ মানুষ গুলির কছে পৌঁছে দিচ্ছেন।

এখন নিজের ব্যর্থতা ঢাকতে ও ক্রমবর্ধমান জনরোষে হতচকিত মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় আতঙ্কের পরিবেশ তৈরী করার অস্ত্রটিকে বেছে নিয়েছেন— তাঁর তথাকথিত “বিশেষ সম্প্রদায়”-এর গুন্ডাদের বিজেপি নেতাদের ওপর হামলা করতে উস্কানি দিয়েছেন, যাতে তাঁরা ত্রাণ কাজে বা অন্যান্য সাহায্য মানুষের কাছে পৌঁছে দিতে না পারেন।

আজ মালদহ উত্তরের সাংসদ শ্রী খগেন মুর্মু নাগরাকাটায় যখন রাজ্য বিজেপির সভাপতি শ্রী শমীক ভট্টাচার্যের সঙ্গে বন্যা-দুর্গত এলাকায় যাচ্ছিলেন তখন তৃণমূলের দুষ্কৃতীদের হাতে ভয়াবহ আক্রমণের শিকার হয়েছেন। ওনাকে পাথর দিয়ে মারা হয়েছে এবং ওনার মুখ ভয়ানকভাবে ক্ষতবিক্ষত হয়েছে। অপর দিকে বিধায়ক ডঃ শঙ্কর ঘোষের গাড়িতেও হামলা চালানো হয়েছে, ওনার গোটা শরীরে কাঁচের ছোটো ছোটো টুকরো ঢুকে গিয়েছে। দুর্ভাগ্যের বিষয় এই হামলা পুলিশের উপস্থিতিতেই হল, অথচ পুলিশ নির্বিকারভাবে দাঁড়িয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে দেখল।

মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় — বিজেপিকে এই ভাবে ভয় দেখিয়ে থামানো যাবে না।
আপনার ভয় ও তোষণের রাজনীতি বাংলার জনগণের ঐক্য ও সাহসের কাছে পরাস্ত হবে।

TMC’s Jungle Raj in Bengal!

BJP MP Khagen Murmu, a respected tribal leader and two-time MP from North Malda, was attacked by TMC goons while on his way to Nagrakata in Jalpaiguri’s Dooars region to help with relief and rescue efforts after devastating rains, floods, and landslides.

While Mamata Banerjee dances at her Kolkata Carnival, the TMC and state administration are missing in action.
Those actually helping the people, BJP leaders and karyakartas, are being attacked for doing relief work.

This is TMC’s Bengal, where cruelty rules and compassion is punished.
