Multiverse of Madness is honestly one of the most misunderstood MCU movies. Everyone was so focused on which random cameos we were supposed to get that they missed what Raimi was actually doing: a weird, genuinely creepy horror movie that actually feels like a director had some freedom.
Wanda crawling through the Mirror Dimension like a horror villain, Strange fighting with music notes, then using his own rotting corpse powered by the souls of the damned… that shit was wild. Once people stop worrying about who didn’t show up and just watch the movie for what it is, it’s easily one of the most stylish movies in the Multiverse Saga.
turns out women get more autoimmune diseases from suppressed anger and trauma.. so basically every time you don't flip a table, your immune system takes a hit. moral of the story? throw the fuckin chair girl. it's preventative medicine
It’s been said before but fuck it, kids CAN actually handle sad, deep and even scary stuff. We gotta stop holding their hands and actually start trusting the audience again. Stop talking down to kids and respect their intelligence. Kids deserve more quality shows like Hey Arnold.
> What's this?
> Your fight scene sir
> That can't be right, it's 3 minutes of uninterrupted fight scenes, where the quips, the jokes?
> It's a serious and cool scene. sir
> Are you sure? Alright. What about someone explaining what they're doing?
> It assumes you're smart enough to understand what's happening.
