@geoffkeighley@summergamefest I went in '99 which was an incredible year. Got to play every Dreamcast game months before it was released... and got to see PS2 stuff before anyone else.
I'll miss E3, but with everything going digital (conferences AND games) it just seems like it was inevitable.
@patrickklepek I think I've bought/sold every console ever made... since I have the attention span of a gnat.
Because of that though, keeping the boxes helps sell them. It's a LOT easier to sell something with the original packaging.
The @NHL#NHLAllStar game and skills competition should be on regular cable TV.
With the news of viewership down 22%, they need to do everything they can to drum up more interest.
I have TSN and cable... and I STILL can't even watch the skills competition tonight.
WTF.
@Kotaku 40 inch waist is huge. I'm a fat blob and I have a 40" waist... if you're offended by this restriction, you might want to ride your rascal up to the front office and complain.
@dominatrix524@HorribleTakesss@GameSpot They're relying too much on data, and not taking into account fanbases, etc.
Even with the new Last Of Us show, the second episode had the biggest INCREASE in viewers in HBO's history (if I'm not mistaken).
How are you supposed to know that until you give it a chance?
@HorribleTakesss@GameSpot That's what I'm saying though.
Did it make money? No? Then bye bye.
It sucks, but every TV network was doing this YEARS before Netflix. The only difference is, Netflix can tell if a show is profitable WAY earlier than cable TV.
Goodbye @GoogleStadia.
You had the potential to be something... decent. You couldn't even manage that.
You had the potential to be 'the Netflix of games', and fumbled every step of the way.
You technically worked, I suppose. But I don't think you'll be missed. #ByeStadia
