@mtgaaron The demand for standard cards increased players into limited as they could trade the cards demanded in the format. So choices by WotC reduced limited and standard then stores closing a year killed it. It's fine though, I'm sure people will buy your proxy cards to make up for it.

@mtgaaron THE reason to play standard was because competitive events in the format. Not only did you spend 2 years trashing standard with constant bans you killed competitive events. Standard is dead because WotC killed it, through hubris or incompetence. Players predicted this at the time
