A pigeon with its flight feathers cleanly cut (like with a blade or knife, not torn by a predator like a crow) was spotted near Musashi-Nakahara station (武蔵中原駅) in Japan.
The bird couldn't fly at all because of the damage.
They suspected animal abuse (動物虐待) rather than a natural injury.
A random X user was already heading there, but since the distance was far, they asked anyone nearby to temporarily rescue/protect the pigeon if possible.
The post included photos of the location on a map, the injured pigeon on the ground, and close-ups showing the neatly severed wing feathers.
The X post by @CherAmi810 announces the successful rescue of a pigeon found near Musashi-Nakahara station in Japan, with cleanly severed flight feathers preventing flight and suggesting deliberate cutting rather than predator damage.
This is pure X community vibes, within 4 hours, they managed to rescue the pigeon.
Expecting this news to be huge in the coming hours.
