I'm loving Waymo rides... and geeking out a future with safer, cheaper driving. But then I see 87% of US Households are car owners...

What do you think -- will sunk costs for car owners slow down a shift to autonomous? Or will affordable autonomy take another 10 yrs anyway?

Look -- I'm as big of a robotaxi stan as the next guy... but I'm confused how we can have Chinese robotaxis rolling out in the US (California specifically) while tons of other Chinese tech is getting banned. A headscratcher, no?

if you can't participate, you're giving your competitors a huge fighting chance. So the game is basically changing from "make it take it" to a "loser drafts first" model.

One thing I'm still struggling to conceptualize from the Google/DOJ case...
Bing is fine to pay Apple billions (because they aren't the monopolicy in this space). You need the monopoly and the payment to be the bad guy.

Twitch VIP streamers will be able to increase from the 50-50 split to a 70-30 split starting in October... IMO this is a clear reaction to rivals like Kick that only take a tiny percentage of creator revenue.
