@UofGlasgow @UofGDumfries Could you please tell me what action has the UoG taken towards the climate crisis? Last time I checked the university was heated with natural gas (fossil fuels), being part of the + 30% of GHG the UK emits only by heating. Are you part of the problem or the solution?

Maybe the best action to first stop contaminating as a uni (GHG and air pollution) and then concentrate efforts on what others are doing.

@HeriotWattUni @heriotwatt_soss @thewattclub And please do not answer that there are no funds or that it would bankrupt the university because with a group of students we voluntarily did a project to half the emissions of the student halls with a 2 year turnover investment and no action was taken.

@HeriotWattUni @heriotwatt_soss @thewattclub The whole university is heated by fossil fuels such as natural gas emitting 13 thousand tons of CO2 per year (equivalent to 1500 taxis working 24/7). This can be diminished by 45% with smart heating and almost 100% with heat pumps. What are you waiting for?
