All haters out there, who take offence with me or my posts, please note my profile picture proves the real world got there before you. Peace & Love ππππ‘π₯π
@DementiaLeague Everyone's experience is so different as it is dependant on the personality of your loved one. I have cared for my Ma for 12 years from initial diagnosis, starting with forgetfulness to not knowing who I am or knowing where she is, after living in the same house for over 65 yrs.
@MRSCARTERPNW Destiny, your life was a rollercoaster, now you stand atop of the world. You & your husband are made for each other, and your family is beautiful. This is not luck, this it deserved. Your joy emanates from your words, & I thank you for sharing it with us all. Love to u all π*β£π
@MRSCARTERPNW BTW, a very heartfelt welcome back, & am so happy that you had a great time in Europe. Glad to hear that you & your family thrived over here, I hope it was everything you thought it would be. But you must be glad to be home to your slice of paradise, my friend.π*β£π
@MRSCARTERPNW As well as folic US/UK trade deals fail due to differing food stds, particularly animal welfare & pesticide/antibiotic/GMO use. Also the US uses potassium bromate & azodicarbonamide, hormones in beef production, washing raw chicken in chlorine which are all banned in the UK/EU.
@luxmy_g@lappinm Don't worry Luxmy, you didn't do anything to offend the vast majority of viewers. We appreciate the quality of your presentation and your professionalism.
@ManifestHistory Here's hoping you get to visit. As although I have tried to describe the culture, there is nothing like experiencing the people and places in person. π
@ManifestHistory From what I have been told by Thai, Laotians and Vietnamese, veterans are treated well by the indigenous people. With all things considered, it is an amazing reflection of the character of the locals. I cannot imagine many places that would open their homeland so graciously !
@ManifestHistory Possibly part of the reason why I ran into so many US veterans in Thailand, and reportedly there are many who have relocated to Vietnam! Sad that they feel more wanted there than in the very country they fought for.
@ManifestHistory Unfortunately we have many veterans who are homeless, suffering from severe mental problems, and going through separation or divorce. It is a travesty that continues to be repeated , and is never properly addressed. π₯Ί
@hist_of_the_day Remembered & revered because she gave up privilege & comfort so serve. To those who are not celebrated but have chosen vocation over self, I remember you all today-thank you. You are used by governments to avoid responsibility. 1 day they will expect too much vocation is a choice
