India has crossed a significant milestone of 80 lakh+ HPV vaccine doses administered under the National HPV Vaccination Campaign.

I congratulate our dedicated health workers, frontline teams, healthcare professionals, States & UTs, and all those working tirelessly to make this campaign a success.

Launched by PM Shri @narendramodi ji in February 2026, the campaign provides free, voluntary, single-dose HPV vaccination to 14-year-old girls, with parental consent.

This achievement strengthens our resolve to advance preventive healthcare and protect future generations from cervical cancer. Let us ensure that no eligible girl is left behind.

Concluding a meaningful engagement at the 79th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia in Dili, Timor-Leste, I had the privilege of representing India and sharing our progress towards a stronger, more equitable and resilient health system.

India’s public health achievements received significant recognition, including @WHO awards for sustaining the elimination of maternal and neonatal tetanus and for leadership in tackling non-communicable diseases through primary healthcare. These honours reflect the dedication of our healthcare workforce, especially frontline health workers.

Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, India remains committed to expanding medical education, strengthening specialist care, leveraging digital platforms such as eSanjeevani and deepening regional partnerships towards Health for All.

Along with Union Minister Shri @mlkhattar , jointly chaired a high-level review meeting on key health infrastructure projects being implemented by CPWD, NBCC and HSCC.

Reviewed the progress of ongoing projects, with emphasis on close coordination, regular monitoring, timely reviews and time-bound completion.

Our priority is to ensure timely delivery of robust, modern and patient-centric health infrastructure that translates into better healthcare services and improved health outcomes for citizens, in line with the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji’s vision of accessible, equitable and world-class healthcare for all.

आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी के नेतृत्व में केंद्रीय कैबिनेट ने पश्चिम बंगाल, झारखंड, ओडिशा, मध्यप्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ के लिए 3 मल्टी-ट्रैकिंग रेल परियोजनाओं को मंजूरी प्रदान की है।

लगभग ₹10,783 करोड़ की लागत वाली खड़गपुर–झारसुगुड़ा (बागडिही) चौथी लाइन, कटनी–पेंड्रा रोड चौथी लाइन तथा बिलासपुर (उस्लापुर)–पेंड्रा रोड तीसरी लाइन की परियोजनाओं से करीब 656 किमी का रेल नेटवर्क विकसित होगा और चारों राज्यों के 56 लाख से अधिक लोग लाभान्वित भी होंगे।

इन परियोजनाओं से न सिर्फ रेल कनेक्टिविटी और मजबूत होगी बल्कि सुगम यातायात सुविधा के साथ ही माल परिवहन को भी नई गति मिलेगी। साथ ही रोजगार और स्वरोजगार के नए अवसर भी सृजित होंगे। रेलवे के विस्तार में इस महत्वपूर्ण परियोजना के लिए प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी का आभार।

Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji has approved five major railway projects worth ₹10,021 crore, covering Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana.

Spanning 540 km across 17 districts, these projects will strengthen rail connectivity, decongest key routes and connect 2,121 villages, serving nearly 52 lakh people, while improving access to major pilgrimage and tourist destinations.

Aligned with the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, the projects will add 47 MTPA of freight capacity, reduce logistics costs, and cut around 8 crore litres of oil imports and 42 crore kg of CO₂ emissions a major step towards a more connected, sustainable and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

for India’s leadership in tackling noncommunicable diseases through primary health care.

Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, India has continued to strengthen primary healthcare, expand access to quality services and drive focused action on both communicable and non-communicable diseases, with the resolve to ensure better health outcomes for every citizen.
