“We must be ready to allow ourselves to be interrupted by God. God will be constantly crossing our paths and canceling our plans by sending us people with claims and petitions.” - Dietrich Bonhoeffer https://t.co/VpsReJ6na6
@HannahComer4d @sometimesalight Agree@on all counts. I too don’t often agree w/ Jp; in this instance I was encouraged to look at how I live my life through a Christlike-Biblical lens, vs. an “American” one or even a Pro-Life one, this struck me as more important. But also, it’s all a sign of things to come.
@HenryL65@philvischer The issue is it’s not @philvischer responsibility to provide proof. Just google some keywords from what he’s referring to. I understand your position, but he was merely tweeting about his own lived experiences, things he’s seen/read/heard doesn’t have to prove that to anyone.
“Why do you dismiss [respected Christian leader]’s concerns about Donald Trump?”
“Because he/she is a leftist.”
“How do you know they are a ‘leftist?’”
“They have concerns about Trump.”
We may need to do better discipling on the subject of circular logic.

@philvischer Thanks, Phil. I appreciate the respectful engagement. I disagree with you, but I know we're operating in good faith and it's a conversation worth having.
Part 3- BREAKING NEWS: Christian Twitter; when the ACT of affection becomes more important than the OBJECT of affection- we definitely need to rethink “Worship”.
Part 2 BREAKING NEWS: Christian Twitter. Maybe we focus on the external state of affairs, (“fellowship”, singing together in harmony,) maybe we long for something that isn’t *as* pleasing to God as a repentant and surrendered heart. Maybe it’s time to rethink how we worship.
BREAKING NEWS: Christian Twitter; WORSHIP is not about singing & music & instruments. Worship is laying down all you have inside and out, and surrendering to Jesus; bowed down splayed out, through word, deed, money & most of all how you live this life every day reflecting Jesus.
We wanted to give back to our community's children with a safer #Halloween alternative in #Seattle.

Wherever we find ourselves in this time of pandemic, one thing is sure: our illusion of control has been exposed, and many of our coping mechanisms are denied. What do we do when we can’t ease our discomfort? https://t.co/817QL3A2LE
“You have broken every chain, there’s salvation in your name. Jesus Christ, my living hope.” Feeling extra grateful for His grace and goodness tonight. Wouldn’t have gotten through this season without Him. 🧡
