I mostly agree with Smith in the clips I've seen, but actually agree with Murray on expertise.

Dave Smith is expressing false humility when he acts like he's just a random average person. Dave has spent more time learning about American foreign policy than 99+% of Americans.

Dave Smith is an expert on foreign policy. Darryl Cooper
is an expert on WWII. If Dan Carlin is not historian, then most "historians" aren't historians either.

We can debate to what degree these people are correct, but the notion that they're not experts is ludicrous.

Expertise comes from practice, not a credential.

You cannot "forgive" someone who hasn't asked for forgiveness.

The instinct to offer blanket forgiveness the man who stabbed your beloved son to death, without his showing any remorse or asking for forgiveness, is a total subversion of ordered loves.

It is "imago dei" vs. ordo amoris.

Maybe Kash Patel has not disbanded the FBI unit that immediately goes to grieving parents in situations like this and gives them a script to say.

But maybe he has and the mental, emotional, and spiritual damage done to good people like this, where their decency is abused to show more compassion to murderers than justice your own child is incalculable.

To react this way after the life of your child—who was just about to embark upon manhood—was savagely snuffed out fills me with rage.

Not at the man himself. He's experiencing the kind of grief very few people have ever had to suffer. He has no idea what he's doing. He's saying what he has been catechized and trained to say over the course of a lifetime.

But the people that have abused the kindness and decency of men like him, I have nothing but endless contempt for.

BREAKING: Republicans in Iowa are proposing a bill, House File 712, which bars a vaccine from being distributed, sold or administered in Iowa unless the vaccine manufacturer waives "immunity from suit for an injury arising from a design defect of the vaccine, including the immunity granted by the federal National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act."

This should be the law federally and in every state.
