@JustinFilly Ooo spooky, I love it. It looks like you are getting comfortable with editor. I agree with your next steps to create an original layout. But there's nothing wrong with repurposing geo from your past projects. Keep me updated!

[Brian Baker @JrBakerChee]

@JustinFilly This is looking great! Especially the interior of the brick building. Really impressive for your first map. I'm sure you've learned a ton about radiant during this process. I'd say you have a solid portfolio piece here. Can't wait to see the finished project and future maps!

[Brian Baker @JrBakerChee]

@JustinFilly It's looking CLEAN, the lighting and readability are looking great! Also great start on the vista. It's really coming together. Great job man!

[Brian Baker @JrBakerChee]

I want to frame these and have them on the walls all around me at all times 😁

Some cool recreated #MW multiplayer maps from @MultiH4

All made with #Sketchup

[Brian Baker @JrBakerChee]

/agree, basically how gunfight came to be. I didn't even bother pitching it. I made a map and @DavidMickner got it playable in a day and everyone got onboard immediately.

Level Designer advice:

Get rid of pre-validation processes.
Proto first -> Discuss after.

I just pushed a feature that was stuck in vague talks for 2 years. It took 1 hour to setup. Got everyone onboard in a single day and the feature is now integrated.

@NerdNerdenstein @DavidMickner I love barrel.

[Brian Baker @JrBakerChee]

@Shandy445 Yeah, it could totally work as a castle, just a pretty small castle. Getting the scale of a castle to work would be the trickiest part.

Last #blocktober entry for me this year. Going with the original gunfight map, King. #leveldesign #gamedesign #gameart #environmentart

[Brian Baker @JrBakerChee]

@Mip1mip Yup, LD's blockout the map and get it playing as good as possible then pass it off to an environment artist. But we also are responsible for a bunch of other stuff. I go into more depth about it here: https://t.co/xS1R9ETDYU

[Brian Baker @JrBakerChee]

@Shandy445 It started out as a straight rip of awp_india from CS 1.6. My all-time favorite AWP map. Then I iterated from there adding side lanes, more cover, and mantle paths. But you can see that the middle structure is exactly the same in the blockout.

[Brian Baker @JrBakerChee]

@TheRealZeRoY @Shandy445 @JustinFilly Yeah that makes sense, that's what I meant to say 😋

[Brian Baker @JrBakerChee]

@MrTomWaffles You got it, King it is. Gotta go way back, king was the very first gunfight map. I'll post it later today.

[Brian Baker @JrBakerChee]

@Shandy445 @JustinFilly Uhh, they hold the floor up of course ☺️

[Brian Baker @JrBakerChee]

@_ChrisCrossed_ This man worked his ass off, well deserved. Thanks for helping make my levels sound good 👏👏👏
