A Call to Action: July 8, 2025 – A Day of Mourning and Defiance

Fellow Kenyans,

Today, our hearts are heavy with grief. The blood of our brothers and sisters, gunned down by the brutal hand of a rogue police force, stains the streets of our beloved nation.

The extrajudicial killings of peaceful protesters, whose only crime was demanding justice and a better Kenya, have left us shattered but unbowed. We mourn their loss, yet our spirits remain defiant.

Tomorrow, July 8, 2025, we declare a People’s Public Holiday - a day to honor the fallen and amplify our unyielding resolve.

We will not be silenced. We will not cower.

Instead, we rise as one to flood the International Criminal Court, the UN Human Rights Council, all embassies and diplomatic missions, independent commissions, and foreign heads of state with photos, videos, and detailed complaints exposing the atrocities committed by the Kenyan police.

Let every citizen, armed with evidence of these crimes, overwhelm global institutions with our truth. Share the images of teargas choking our youth, the bullets piercing unarmed bodies, and the abductions tearing families apart.

Let the world see the face of a regime that betrays its people.

This is our moment to stand firm. Mourn, yes, but channel your sorrow into action.

Tomorrow, we protest not just in the streets but in the inboxes, phone lines, and offices of those who can hold this regime accountable.

Our fallen heroes demand justice. Our nation demands freedom.

Kenya will rise. We will not forget. We will not forgive.
