I’m begging women to stop shrinking themselves to feel beautiful.
Take up space.
In the gym.
On the subway.
At the meetings.
In the bed.
On the sidewalk.
At the store.
Take. Up. Space. And don’t back down.
If you are racist in front of me I will ask you WTF. And I will be loud. I’m turning off comments on this because I’m not saying this for accolades. I’m saying this so other people who look like me realize what accountability looks like.
in your 20’s and 30’s you begin grieving versions of yourself that were forced to grow up too fast or figure things out alone. it’s very important you acknowledge that grief instead of minimizing it
@the_fit_fem Being told to "figure it out myself cause I'm a man" my whole life, when asking how things work, and getting written off as a failure for not living up to expectations.
