Russia has capitalist economics, authoritarian politics, zero communism. The Communist Party still exists there but it’s a minor, largely token opposition party. That post is right they have not been communist since the 1990s.

The catch is how wealth works there versus America. Russia is what political scientists often call a kleptocracy or crony capitalist state. The rule of law is weak, courts aren’t independent, and property rights only hold as long as you don’t cross someone more politically connected than you. The biggest fortunes (the “oligarchs”) came from insiders grabbing state assets cheap during the chaotic 1990s privatization. Today, you can run a successful small or mid-size business, but if it gets big enough to be interesting, you risk it being taken through rigged courts, fabricated criminal charges, or pressure to sell to a Kremlin ally.

Wrong on multiple points. The 2026 Iran war is a joint US-Israel operation strikes began Feb 28 with coordinated US/Israeli airstrikes on Iranian targets, missiles, navy & leadership. Not 100% solo America.

UK provided defensive support (shot down Iranian missiles/drones) + allowed US use of British bases. Trump criticized allies (incl. UK) for not doing enough. NATO Article 5 doesn't apply. Trump openly called out NATO countries for limited backing.
