@kevin_barral have the Marlins had a single game against a lefty starter in which they actually hit well and scored a lot of runs? In the last two seasons? At what point does, what I consider the worst manager in baseball, wake up and play his best lineup?
@RealEly@kevin_barral Imagine if this team makes the playoffs and this lineup is what they send out there against a lefty!! And if they don’t, and they actually choose the best hitters, they’ll barely have any ABs against lefties…which makes things even worse. 0-7 Slater with all ABs against lefty
@RealEly@kevin_barral Reason team has been struggling against lefties for the last two seasons! Put your best lineup in always! It’s what all playoff teams do! They don’t have a
“righty lineup” they play their best 9 and in the same spot of the order too! Day in day out minus rest days!
@kevin_barral@FishOnFirst Who would’ve thought this man, who marlin fans all enjoyed a while ago, would become such a damn troll. I mean even to go back to an article from 2012 just to prove someone wrong and put something down. Gawd! Tired of it. Hope doing this is keeping him busy.
@FishOnFirst No lineup should feature Myers, Wagaman and Hill at the same time! Stop with this ridiculousness of a lefty is on the mound so here’s our Right handed lineup. We have had no success against lefties, wonder why
@JeremiahGeiger2 At some point these guys will have to face lefties. So why not in a 5-1 game in the 8th let them get an AB in? Especially since both lefties PH for, Marsee and Johnston, are ridiculous defensively. Keep the D strongest while giving them ABs against a lefty. Why not?
@MiamiMarlins_UK Right now, I feel Pauley gets sent down cause Bride, Wagaman and Sanoja can play 3rd. But a few days after Jesus comes back Norby will be here and another move will be needed.
Truly over Bride. He can go. But the FO sees him as the “experience” on the team
@marlinsminors @kevin_barral@2297Troy That guy is another Dallas McPherson. I know you are young so you might not know him. Check him up. Never given an opportunity but did nothing but show he can play!
It’s insane he’s never been given a chance with this anemic offense.
@dynastyinfo411 Luzardo and Garrett missed the majority of last season so I’d expect them to be on some kind of limit as well. The bottom 3 on the list will be given Eury treatments upon arriving to the bigs. So 80 for their first season in hopes to “preserve their young arms”.
@dynastyinfo411 They put innings limits on everyone these days when they come back from surgeries or miss extensive time or like Eury in the past, just haven’t pitched that many innings in their careers. Sandy will def not be allowed to go 200ip after TJ.
@nathan_nir @CDeNicola13 Is that what’s going on? Because we have needs at both spots but also have Johnston and De Los Santos who both play corners. Troy at 1st with Burger at 3rd and De Los Santos plays 1/3. So imo our bigger need for Norby would be 2nd. Am I wrong? Also Pauley plays 3rd and close
@cmattmetric@MLBNow@JonHeyman@MLBNetwork And that’s a healthy season for him! Hasn’t been hurt at all this year surprisingly. You can blame lack or protection in MIA but last night NYY had him protecting and not protected! Lol. Batting 5th.
